Meet Our Team of Specialized Speech and Language Pathologists

Danielle Martinez M.A., CCC-SLP

Danielle grew up in Tranquillity, CA, and pursued the field of speech and language pathology later in life She wanted to go into a career where she could make a real difference in people's lives. Danielle graduated from Fresno State summa cum laude and has been as a medical speech-language pathologist (SLP) since 2012. Danielle has worked with both children and adults at various hospitals, home health, and skilled nursing facilities across the Central Valley. Specialties include aphasia, dementia, dysphagia (swallowing disorders), dysarthria, TBI, cognition, communication, AAC, speech, and language. She has been certified in the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia: Person-Centered Care through the Aphasia Access Academy and has had much success treating Aphasia. Danielle works hard to have meaningful connections between herself and her clients. She is passionate about her job as an SLP and will work hard for you and your loved one.

Alexis Martinez M.A., CCC-SLP

Alexis Martinez is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist (SLP). She graduated from Fresno State University in 2016 with her Undergraduate degree in Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies and her Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Alexis has spent her professional career as a school based SLP, providing articulation, language, stuttering, and functional communication therapy. She is skilled in working with both verbal and non-speaking children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Alexis received an AAC assessment certificate from the Diagnostic Center in 2017 after completing extensive training. She is certified in assistive technology and AAC assessments through CSU Northridge. Alexis has a passion for working with AAC and has vast experience completing comprehensive assessments. Alexis is committed to teaching and advocating for children with complex communication needs.

Patricia Gutierrez M.A., CCC-SLP

Patricia received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Fresno in 2006. She is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and holds an advanced certificate in Bilingual Speech Language Pathology from Columbia University, New York. Patricia is fluent in both Spanish and English. She has experience in bilingual Speech-Language assessments. She has worked in public schools and clinical settings assessing and treating speech, language, social communication, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. She is compassionate, empathetic, friendly, enthusiastic, and persistent. She enjoys working with people from all backgrounds.

Dayna Martinez M.A., CCC-SLP

Dayna is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from California State University, Fresno in 2020, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Master of Arts degree in Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology. She has been employed in both private practice and school based settings. Dayna has experience diagnosing and treating articulation disorders, apraxia, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic disorders, and receptive and expressive language delays. Dayna is skilled in providing individualized therapy for neurodivergent children with specialized needs, as well as early intervention play based-therapy. One of Dayna’s biggest joys of working in this field is participating in parent/caregiver collaboration, as it gives families the power and resources to help their child grow. Dayna is passionate about helping children of all backgrounds find their voice, confidence, and independence.
